The Idea
I am not fully sure where the idea came from to tilt the world’s largest rivers to space, but I immediately thought it was interesting. I grabbed some rivers, had to do a little data clean up and then away I tilted. What surprised me was how far they extended past the ground. They looked a little like coral and trees. I thought the ‘Trees of Life’ title fit them perfectly.
As is often the case, you need help getting a vision to reality. What amazed me is how easy this was to do. Regardless, I still needed some help – thanks to Michael Contreras on the 3D team.
