This was a very fun project where I tried to mimic Japanese/Chinese ink landscape paintings. I feel like I just scratched the surface and will be exploring this area more.

These sorts of projects I enjoy the most. Anytime I get to work traditionally it automatically becomes one of my favourite projects.
Digital
I am fascinated by 3D cartography. I think this world is on the cusp of something great. I like the idea of combining a painterly look to a 3D landscape.
