Building off the last project, I wanted to continue my journey of adding interest to a map by showing movement. Really, showing clouds moving across a map is about as perfect as it gets. It just feels natural to see clouds move. This map uses some great data from NOAA. Actually, you should stop reading this blog now and jump over to NOAA to check it out.
I decided to give the map some Viking vibes and in the end was pretty happy with it. I may have said this before but whenever I get to add clouds to a map, it is a win. To find out more details on how I put this together you can check out this blog.
